Desmond Tau is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of extensive experience in community development, enterprise development support, corporate social investment (CSI), socio-economic development, stakeholder relations, and project management. He has worked across diverse sectors, including government, NGOs, and the renewable energy sector, demonstrating a strong commitment to driving sustainable development and fostering impactful collaborations.
Currently serving as the Stakeholder Coordinator at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO), Desmond leverages his wealth of expertise to support local community development initiatives. His role focuses on fostering sustainable growth, creating opportunities for communities, and establishing and maintaining robust relationships with stakeholders involved in SARAO’s projects.
