The South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO), the SKA Observatory (SKAO), and Australia’s CSIRO in partnership with Sol Plaatje University (SPU),  proudly presents Cosmic Echoes: A Shared Sky Indigenous Art Exhibition—a powerful fusion of art, science, and Indigenous knowledge.

From 9 August to 13 September 2025, this groundbreaking exhibition will showcase the creativity of Australian and South African Indigenous artists, exploring the intersection of modern astronomy and ancient wisdom. The event also honors Ouma Katrina Esau, a revered language activist and guardian of the N|uu language, as part of Women’s Month celebrations.
