Sydil Kupa, Software Developer (SARAO) to present at the Science Forum South Africa
We are thrilled to announce that Sydil Kupa from the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO) will be presenting during Theme 5: Global Science for Humanity – Agriculture, Health, Climate Change, Just Transition on 5 December 2024 at the CSIR ICC (Emerald Hall).
Sydil is a software developer at NRF-SARAO and leads the machine learning (ML) team within the Software Team. The ML team’s reserach focuses on data intelligence to enhance the telescope’s efficiency.
Sydil will be part of the session titled:
“Empowering Emerging Researchers: Leveraging NRF National Research Infrastructure Platforms (NRIPs) for Transformation, Innovation, and Societal Impact.”
