European School of Antennas and Propagation (ESoA): Antennas for Radio Telescopes

Applications are now being accepted for the Antennas for Radio Telescopes course offered by the European School of Antennas and Propagation (ESoA) in partnership with Stellenbosch University. The course will be hosted at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, from 20 – 24 November 2023.
Involved institutions include Stellenbosch University (South Africa), the SKA Organisation, ASTRON (Netherlands), Curtin University (Australia), TICRA (Denmark), Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and Rhodes University (South Africa).

SARAO is funding a limited number of travel grants for PhD-level students working in the area of radio astronomy instrumentation to participate in this workshop. Students based in South Africa or the 8 SKA Africa partners (Botswana, Namibia, Madagascar, Mozambique, Mauritius, Kenya, Ghana, and Zambia ) countries are eligible to apply.
