Interferometric Imaging I, II and III

In this presentation we formalise the relationship between the visibility space of the interferometer and the sky brightness distribution. We discuss the effect of missing samples in the synthesized aperture on the image and how we use deconvolution to remove these artifacts and to construct a model for further calibration in a process called self-calibration.
