SARAO’s Commercialisation Office hosted a key IP Awareness Session for our Software Engineering team, whose work is critical to large-scale projects like the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) and the MeerKAT radio telescopes.

Facilitated by Ndifikile Magaudeni and supported by our Principal Intellectual Property Officer (PIPO) Mark Johnson, the session explored the different types of Intellectual Property (IP) relevant to software engineers, with a strong focus on protecting Know-How.
