With a BSc in electrical and computer engineering and a Master’s in space studies from UCT, Ms Barbara Ojur brings both technical depth and strategic insight to her work supporting NRF-SARAO’s cutting-edge radio astronomy research. She is a member of the International Scientific Advisory Committee for ICALEPCS, a global conference series advancing accelerator and experimental physics control systems. She is a passionate advocate for STEM and gender equity in tech, believes in mentorship, and aims to inspire others through her belief that science and engineering can tangibly improve the world. Ms Ojur is committed to making the field more inclusive, collaborative, and innovative.
