Vivienne Rowland – Science Communications Editor
Vivienne Rowland is a skilled Science Communications Editor at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO). With a passion for communicating complex scientific ideas, Vivienne plays a pivotal role in translating the groundbreaking work conducted at SARAO into content that is accessible and engaging for diverse audiences.
Her work includes editing scientific publications, scientific paper editing for conferences, curating content for outreach programmes, content sourcing and writing for publications aimed at the advancement and understanding of science, and collaborating with researchers to highlight the impact of SARAO’s projects.

Vivienne holds an Honours and Masters degree in Journalism from the University of Stellenbosch.
