The challenge of foregrounds

About the Presenter:

Marta did her Ph.D. in France on Planck data analysis. She then spent 3 years in Cape Town at  the Centre for Radio Cosmology at UWC, working with Mario Santos and Gianni Bernardi on Foreground modeling for the EoR and Cosmic Dawn, and also on HI Intensity Mapping with MeerKAT. Marta is currently at the Observatory of Trieste, in Italy, where she continues to work on 21cm cosmology and foreground cleaning.
