Experiment design and the Radio Experiment for the Analysis of Cosmic Hydrogen

About the Presenter:

Eloy’s research, funded by STFC, is on 21-cm cosmology: Cosmic Dawn, Epoch of Reionization.

He leads the Cm-wave Experimental Radio Cosmology research group at Cavendish Astrophysics and he is the initiator and PI of the REACH experiment.

He is also involved in other projects for astronomy (e.g. SKA, HERA) and ultra fast digital communications and EM metrology, with a focus on applications of astronomy-inspired technology in society.

Eloy has recently been awarded a STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowship for a 5 year period that will start in late 2021.
